Mini-Med School: Heart 201 Sign up now. Learn new advances in heart health and ways to reduce your risk for heart disease. All sessions are led by Northwestern Memorial experts. Attend all four sessions and earn a certificate of completion. Mini-Med School meets once a week for the four Tuesdays in October.

Spotlight: Community Baby Shower
Community Baby Shower: Birth, Baby and Beyond - Visit the Alberto Culver Women’s Health Learning Center for a special event celebrating new life and motherhood. During this health-fair style event, Northwestern Memorial experts and community representatives will be available for information and resources regarding all aspects of pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. Children and families welcome.

Join us for a book signing and talk featuring La Clínica: A Doctor’s Journey across Borders, written by David Sklar, MD. Throughout history physicians have been authors as well as healers. Dr. Sklar is continuing the tradition with his memoir of volunteering in a clinic in rural Mexico. Make plans now to attend Dr. Sklar’s presentation.
